spacegandalfReading is hard. Reading while being totally untreated for my ADHD is so much worse, and I find myself really wanting to enjoy this book but for some reason COMPLETELY unable to remember LITERALLY ANY NAME. So I have made this list to help myself. And maybe it will help someone else one day! Who knows! Mostly I just want to read this book because I do enjoy it a lot! To be updated as I get further through the book, etc.
Dramatis Personae
Alex Claremont-Diaz -- our hero, the First Son of the United States, disaster bi, aspiring politician, forced to be mates with Prince Henry because of an unfortunate cake incident at a wedding.
June Claremont-Diaz -- Alex's sister, daughter of the President. Doing a communications degree, wants to be a journo.
Nora Holleran -- best friend of Alex and June, granddaughter of the Vice President. Into computer and maths stuff?? Collectively, they are known as the White House Trio.
Ellen Claremont -- President of the United States, Alex and June's mum.
Oscar Diaz -- Senator (Cal??). Alex and June's dad, divorced from Ellen.
Leo -- Alex and June's stepdad, husband of Ellen. Millionaire inventor tech man, but actually a good guy.
Prince Henry -- the prince of the aforementioned cake incident. Into Star Wars and insomnia.
Prince Philip -- Henry's older brother.
Princess Beatrice (Bea) -- Henry's older sister; closer with Henry than either are with Philip.
Zahra -- Deputy Chief of Staff. Kind of seems like Alex and June's handler? but that doesn't sound right for a deputy chief of staff, idk, who knows.
Amy -- Ellen's favourite Secret Service agent,
Shaan Srivastava -- Prince Henry's equerry (his attendant/handler).
Rafael Luna -- Indie senator (Col.), youthful at only 39. Alex was on his campaign staff for his election.
